About the Role

PingCAP is hiring a highly experienced technology leader for the role of Head of Global Solutions Architect. This remote position is open to candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, or any West Coast time zone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support regional architecture teams across North America, EMEA, APAC, and Japan.
  • Develop scalable solutions and GTM strategies based on industry-specific use cases.
  • Collaborate with cloud providers like AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure to build joint solutions.
  • Guide customers in designing scalable systems using TiDB.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in database technologies or cloud-native solutions.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models and enterprise architecture.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven record in customer success.
  • Hands-on knowledge of distributed systems, RDMS, and industry-standard data tools.

Salary Range:

$160,000–$220,000 a year based on experience and qualifications. Additional bonuses and stock options may be available depending on performance and role level.
