Your Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth operation of air freight processes and providing excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders. Your core responsibilities include:
- ✈️ Air Cargo Coordination: Oversee daily cargo handling, shipment loading/unloading, and documentation to ensure accurate and timely movement of freight.
- 📦 Warehouse Operations: Supervise inventory, ensure proper labelling, tracking, and handling of goods while meeting high safety and accuracy standards.
- 🧾 Compliance Management: Ensure full adherence to government regulations, Maersk policies, and certified cargo screening facility (CCSF) protocols.
- 📊 Data Reporting & Analysis: Maintain real-time shipment logs, create Excel-based operational reports, and support decision-making through performance insights.
- 🤝 Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, shipment updates, and problem resolution while delivering a seamless service experience.
- 🚛 Driver & Dispatch Coordination: Manage driver check-ins, assign shipment schedules, and streamline last-mile deliveries.
- ⚡ Process Optimisation: Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce operational costs, and minimise delays.
- 📞 Team Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including branch managers, warehouse supervisors, and international partners, to maintain operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment. Ideal candidates should possess:
- ✅ Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
- ✅ Minimum of 2+ years of experience in air cargo operations or freight forwarding
- ✅ Knowledge of cargo handling procedures, inventory management, and shipment regulations
- ✅ Strong analytical and Excel reporting skills
- ✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ✅ Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
- ✅ Familiarity with safety compliance and cargo security certifications is a plus
